International Press Production Limited (IPP) was established by Bob Cottell, in 2003.

Before setting up IPP, Bob worked for many years managing international press and print campaigns for some of the world’s leading brands. This experience gave Bob an insight into how international print and distribution could be managed in a more effective way. Bob then founded IPP, recruited print and distribution specialists and commissioned the development of Joules – IPP’s unique online production and distribution management system.

Behind IPP there is a philosophy of making things ‘simple’ – and easy to implement. Too many people spend too much time making things complicated, over valuing complexity when simple ideas are often more effective and easier to implement. Companies derive value from effective implementation.

Looking at the global market, with ever growing competition, it was clear that successful companies would have to reduce costs in the developed markets and look for growth in the emerging markets – and companies would have to adopt a more ‘international mindset’.

IPP’s decision to help clients in both the developed and emerging markets was reinforced with the opening of its Chinese office in 2007, selecting the ‘second tier’ city of Dalian, which has proved an excellent and competitive location for working in Asia and across time zones.

IPP’s approach is innovative - we invest in and manage a worldwide supply chain of production and distribution companies – with projects managed through Joules. This simply provides you with worldwide scalable resources, the ability to change quickly with technology, access to competitive and responsive services. And, for IPP it provides a sustainable and scalable business model.

IPP currently has capabilities in all regions worldwide (see Global Supply Chain below) and is continually adding to the supply chain to provide an ever more responsive and competitive service.
