IPP JOULES is currently involved with a range of initiatives to support local communities through schools and colleges.
We believe that education is absolutely key to our childrens' futures, as well as creating opportunities for adults to retrain. ipp joules' involvement is diverse and also encourages international and corporate co-operation wherever possible.

Grace secondary school in the Sudan
Work is underway to build a secondary school in the Sudan, and ipp joules is involved in a range of activities and fund raising. The charity hopes to provide secondary education to children caught up in a war zone for many years. Go to http://www.gracesecondaryschool.com/newsletter.shtml
Language lessons in China
In China, we actively encourage our production management teams to learn additional languages - currently Japanese courses are underway with a local college, keen to attract revenue from overseas companies. We are also working with a local UK college, building links with colleges in Dalian, China.
Reading books for inner city school, USA
In the US we have supplied reading books to Easton High School, Pennsylvania, selected from an English literature reading list kindly supplied by Weymouth College, UK.
Perhaps they will talk more in the future - it could possibly be an interesting opportunity for the students. What do the students in Weymouth know about students in Easton, and vice versa? Here are a couple of website links as a starter.

Great example of co-operation - Weymouth College, UK
Weymouth College, Dorset, UK has become involved in various projects with ipp joules - providing use of the construction centre in Poundbury to raise money for Grace (Sudan), help with the reading lists for Easton College (US) and building links with colleges in China.
