Telling the truth or being truthful.
Two boys jump over a wall into an orchard. As one boy picks an apple from a tree, he sees the farmer coming and quickly passes the apple to the second boy. The farmer comes up to the two boys and asks "who stole the apple?". The first boy replies "I don't have the apple", the second replies "I didn't take the apple" - both boys are telling the truth, but are they being truthful?
